The District Title I Parent & Family Engagement Policy and West Adams School-Parent Compact & Title-1 Engagement Policy were distributed the week of 08/14/23. They were updated on 12/07/24 and distributed the week of 12/11/24.
Committees
School Site Council (SSC)
SSC is a group of people, selected by their peers, to represent parents, teachers, other staff, and students. SSC's responsibilities include-
- Reviewing and analyzing student achievement data
- Gathering community input
- Helping develop the School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) and the school site budget
- Monitoring the implementation of the plan and budget
Share-Decision Making (SDM)
SDM members consist of teachers, classified staff, parents, students, and the principal. SDM addresses matters including student discipline and instructional bell schedules, using data to inform school policies.
English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC)
ELAC's mission is to provide an authentic parent and student voice around matters relating to English Learners.
